The giant entertainment center was built for a 32-inch tube TV. Now the TV is a flat screen on the wall, and the oak wall unit is just a very heavy shelf. Most of them come in two or three sections, all glass doors and particleboard backs, and they never fit through the door the way they came in.
We’re Extreme Junk Removal, a licensed and insured family business based in Palm Coast. We’ve been hauling old living room furniture out of homes and condos from St. Augustine to New Smyrna Beach for more than nine years.
How it works

We look at the size and weight and text you back a price.
3. We haul it away
Our crew shows up and everything goes into our 15-yard dump trailer.

Before we come
- Empty the shelves and cabinets. Books, DVDs and knickknacks you don’t want can be boxed or bagged, and we’ll haul them too.
- Take out loose glass shelves if they come out easily, and lay them flat on the floor.
- Leave sectional units as they are. If they separate easily, great. If not, tell us when you text.
- Let us know about the TV. If the old tube TV is still inside, that’s fine. We haul those too.
The old TV, and the rest of the room

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to empty it first?
Yes. Please clear out the shelves and cabinets. Anything you’re throwing away can be boxed or bagged to go with it.
What about the glass doors and shelves?
Leave the doors on. Loose glass shelves should be laid flat on the floor so nothing breaks in the walkway.
Can you take the old tube TV inside it?
Yes. We haul old tube TVs and flat screens, so the TV can go with the cabinet.
How much is entertainment center removal?
A single unit starts at our $125 minimum. Bigger multi-piece wall units are priced by how much trailer space they take.
