Florida grass grows almost all year, so mowers here wear out fast. Most garages from Palm Coast to Port Orange have at least one that won’t start, plus a weed eater with a cracked head, a blower that floods every time and a pressure washer that hasn’t run since the last hurricane season. Riding mowers are a whole other problem: 400 pounds that won’t roll on their own.
We’re Extreme Junk Removal, a family-owned, licensed and insured junk hauler based in Palm Coast. We’ve cleared sheds, garages and side yards across Flagler, St. Johns and Volusia counties for more than nine years.
How it works

3. We haul it away
Our crew shows up and everything goes into our 15-yard dump trailer.

The one rule: no fuel
We don’t haul gas, oil or fuel cans. Before we come:
- Run the gas tank dry or drain it on mowers, generators, pressure washers and anything else with an engine.
- Keep gas cans and oil jugs out of the pile. Your county’s household hazardous waste drop-off takes those.
- Take out removable batteries from battery-powered tools and riding mowers if you can.
Riding mowers that won’t roll are fine. Just tell us where it’s parked and whether the tires hold air.
Shed and garage cleanouts
Lawn equipment usually lives in the shed or garage with a lot of other stuff. See garage cleanouts and shed cleanouts. Yard waste, branches and palm fronds are on yard debris removal, and rusted metal like old grills and bikes is on scrap metal removal and grill removal.

Frequently asked questions
Do you take riding mowers?
Yes. Riding mowers and lawn tractors are fine, even if they don’t run. Tell us where it’s parked and if the tires are flat.
Does the gas need to be drained?
Yes. We don’t haul fuel, so run the tank dry or drain it, and keep gas cans out of the pile.
Can you take generators and pressure washers?
Yes, once the fuel is out. Portable generators and gas or electric pressure washers go in the trailer.
How much is lawn mower removal?
One mower starts at our $125 minimum. A shed full of equipment is priced by how much of the trailer it fills.
