Palm Coast Plantation is the gated community on the Intracoastal Waterway in Palm Coast, built around the spring-fed Emerald Lake. The entrance is on Palm Harbor Parkway, a short drive east of the I-95 Palm Coast Parkway exit, and the county’s Herschel King Park boat launch is right next door. It’s roughly 700 acres of homes, lake and preserve, with a clubhouse, a community pier and boat and RV storage for residents.

That boating and lake life means garages full of gear. Extreme Junk Removal is a family-owned, licensed and insured junk hauler based in Palm Coast, and Palm Coast Plantation is only a few minutes from us. You text photos, we text back a price, and our crew hauls it away in our 15-yard dump trailer.

Common jobs in Palm Coast Plantation

  • Garage cleanouts. Fishing rods, life jackets, old coolers, kayaks, bikes, storage totes and shelving.
  • Lanai and patio furniture. Faded loungers, rusted dining sets, old umbrellas and cushions.
  • Furniture swaps. Old sofas, recliners, beds and dressers when new furniture arrives.
  • Appliances. Garage fridges, freezers, washers, dryers and water heaters once they’re unhooked. See appliance removal.
  • Downsizing and moves. Clearing what’s left when a home is sold or a parent moves to something smaller.
  • Yard and storm debris. Gathered branches, palm fronds and fencing after a storm.

Gate access and HOA

Palm Coast Plantation is a gated HOA community, and visitors check in at the gate. We coordinate gate access or a gate code with you before the job, so just let us know the name to leave with the gate and we’ll handle the rest with you.

Many HOAs ask that piles not sit at the curb or in front of the house. You don’t have to stage anything outside. Text us photos of where things are now, in the garage, on the lanai or in a spare room, and we’ll come haul it from there.

Boating and lake gear

Living next to the Intracoastal and Emerald Lake, a lot of homes here have a garage that doubles as a boat shed. We regularly haul:

  • Old kayaks, paddleboards and canoes
  • Worn life jackets, cushions and fenders
  • Broken fishing gear, rod racks and tackle storage
  • Old coolers, beach carts and outdoor chairs
  • Plastic storage totes and old shelving

We don’t haul fuel, oil, paint or propane tanks. For anything bigger, like an old boat or trailer, text a photo and ask first. See sports equipment removal for more on bikes, kayaks and gear.

Downsizing and moving

When a Palm Coast Plantation home is going on the market, we clear what didn’t sell or isn’t moving with you, so the house is ready for photos or closing. Most single rooms fit in a quarter or half load, and a full home can take one or more full loads. See move-out cleanouts and estate cleanouts.

Hurricane season

Big oaks and palms along the water drop a lot after a storm. Once the branches and debris are gathered into piles, we haul them away. See hurricane debris removal and yard debris removal.
