A dishwasher is one of those appliances that seems small until it’s out of the cabinet. Then it’s a dripping metal box with a door that won’t stay shut, too bulky for the trash can and too heavy to toss in the back seat.
We’re Extreme Junk Removal, a family-owned, licensed and insured junk hauler based in Palm Coast. Old dishwashers are a regular stop for us, usually from a kitchen update, a rental turnover or a home getting ready to sell. Our customers have left us 200+ Google reviews over more than nine years.
How it works

Our crew shows up and everything goes into our 15-yard dump trailer.

Getting it ready
We only haul. We don’t do plumbing or electrical work, so the old dishwasher needs to be:
- Disconnected from the water line, drain and power by your plumber or installer
- Pulled out of the cabinet opening
- Drained as much as possible, with a towel under it if it still drips
It can sit in the kitchen, garage, carport or driveway. A dishwasher on its back in the garage is just fine.
One dishwasher, or the whole kitchen
If the dishwasher is the only thing going, it counts as a single item pickup at our $125 minimum. If you’re replacing more than one appliance, add the old range from stove and oven removal, or the fridge from refrigerator removal, and the price goes by how much room it all takes in the trailer.

Frequently asked questions
Do you unhook the dishwasher?
No. We only haul. Your plumber or installer needs to disconnect the water, drain and power and slide it out of the cabinet first.
What if it still has water in it?
Drain what you can and set it on a towel. A little moisture is fine, but please don’t leave standing water inside.
How much does dishwasher removal cost?
One dishwasher starts at our $125 minimum. More items are priced by how much of the 15-yard trailer they fill.
Can you take a trash compactor too?
Yes. Trash compactors, disposals that are already out and other old kitchen appliances can go in the same trip.
