Recliners are built to be comfortable, not to be moved. A wall-hugger with a steel frame can weigh well over 100 pounds, a power recliner has a motor and wiring under the seat, and a full massage chair can top 200. When the footrest stops closing or the motor finally quits, getting it out of the den is a real job.

Good to know before we come
- Unplug power recliners and massage chairs. Coil the cord and tuck the remote in the seat.
- Lay it back or close it up, whichever position it gets stuck in least. We’ll work with it either way.
- Tell us about the route out. Stairs, a tight hallway or a condo elevator are all fine, we just want to know ahead of time.
The chair can be in the living room, a bedroom, the garage or at the curb.

Frequently asked questions
Do you take power recliners and massage chairs?
Yes. Power recliners, seat-raise recliners and heavy massage chairs all go in the trailer. Just unplug them before we arrive.
How much does recliner removal cost?
One recliner starts at our $125 minimum. A recliner with a couch or other furniture is priced by how much of the trailer it fills.
Can you get it out of an upstairs condo?
Yes. Tell us about the stairs or elevator when you text your photo, and we’ll plan for it.
Does the chair need to be at the curb?
No. It can stay in the room. Tell us where it is when you text.
