Florida yards love a wooden gazebo until the posts rot, the roof sags or a storm peels the shingles off. What started as shade for cookouts becomes a leaning structure that HOAs complain about and buyers notice on the listing photos.

Extreme Junk Removal tears down wooden gazebos and hauls every piece away. Posts, beams, rafters, roofing, lattice, benches bolted to the floor and leftover hardware all leave in our 15-yard dump trailer. We are a family-owned, licensed and insured company based in Palm Coast, FL, with more than nine years in business and 270+ Google reviews. We serve Palm Coast, Flagler Beach, Bunnell, St. Augustine, St. Augustine Beach, World Golf Village, Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach and Edgewater.

What we handle

  • Freestanding wooden gazebos in the yard
  • Gazebos attached to a deck or patio (the gazebo portion; see deck removal if the whole deck is going)
  • Soft-top and hard-roof wood gazebos
  • Storm-damaged or partially collapsed gazebos
  • Lattice, built-in benches and attached steps that are part of the structure
  • Gazebos that are already down and stacked in a pile

Metal pergolas, vinyl kits and fabric pop-up canopies are a different conversation — send photos and we will tell you whether it fits our work. Barns and carports are also an ask-us job, not a standard gazebo teardown.

How gazebo removal works

  1. Text us photos of the gazebo from a couple of angles, plus the path from the backyard to where we can park the trailer.
  2. We send a price. Teardown and haul-away are quoted together from your photos, based on size, roof type, how it is anchored and how much of our 15-yard dump trailer it fills.
  3. We tear it down and haul it all away. Framing, roofing and attached pieces leave with us. No dumpster sits in your driveway.

Before we come

  • Clear the area under and around the gazebo of furniture, grills and planters you are keeping.
  • Point out anything bolted on that stays, such as a ceiling fan you want to keep (have power disconnected first by an electrician).
  • Tell us about anchors and a pad. We haul the gazebo and loose debris. We do not break up concrete slabs. Ask us about blocks, pavers and anchors when you text.
  • HOA notice: if your association needs a heads-up for a trailer in the driveway, handle that ahead of the appointment.

Gazebo plus other yard work

A lot of yards that need a gazebo gone also have a tired deck, fence, shed, hot tub or playset. Those can often ride in the same visit when the trailer has room. Branches and brush go with yard debris removal. Not sure what to expect? Read What to expect from a gazebo teardown.

Frequently asked questions

Do you tear down wooden gazebos, or just haul a pile someone else left?

We tear them down. Our crew tears down the gazebo on site and hauls every piece away in our 15-yard dump trailer.

How much does gazebo removal cost?

It depends on size, roof type and access. Text photos and we will quote teardown and haul-away together. Load prices are $125 minimum, $225 quarter load, $345 half load and $595 for a full 15-yard trailer load.

Do you remove the concrete pad under the gazebo?

No. We do not break up concrete slabs. The gazebo and loose debris leave with us; the slab stays. Ask us about blocks, pavers and anchors when you send photos.

Can you tear down a gazebo that is attached to my deck?

Yes for the gazebo portion. If the whole deck is coming out too, see our deck removal page and send photos of both so we can price them together.

Do you serve New Smyrna Beach and Edgewater for gazebo teardowns?

Yes. Those towns are on our regular south route, along with Port Orange, Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach.
