A wooden gazebo looks great in the listing photos until the posts soft-rot at the base or a storm peels the roof. Then it becomes the structure everyone walks around. Homeowners from Palm Coast to New Smyrna Beach ask the same questions before they text us. Here are straight answers.
Do you tear it down, or only haul a pile?
We tear it down. Posts, beams, rafters, roofing, lattice and bolted benches leave in our 15-yard dump trailer. If a storm already put it on the ground, we haul the pile. Either way, you are not hiring a second company for the debris. Details live on our gazebo removal page.
What about the pad?
We do not break up concrete slabs. The gazebo and loose debris leave with us. Blocks, pavers and anchors are worth asking about when you send photos, because those vary by how the gazebo was built.
What if it is attached to the deck?
We can take the gazebo portion. If the whole deck is coming out too, send photos of both and we will look at deck removal in the same visit when the trailer has room.
How much does it cost?
We price from photos. Load tiers are $125 minimum, $225 quarter load, $345 half load and $595 for a full 15-yard trailer load. Size, roof type and access change where a gazebo lands on that scale. A small open gazebo is a different job than a large hard-roof structure with lattice walls.
What should I do before the crew arrives?
- Clear furniture, grills and planters from under and around the gazebo.
- Have an electrician disconnect any wired lights or fans you are keeping.
- Tell your HOA if they need notice for a trailer in the driveway.
- Send gate codes for gated communities when you text photos.
Can other yard projects go in the same visit?
Often yes, when trailer space allows. Tired sheds, fences and hot tubs are common add-ons. Town coverage is listed on our service areas page.
Who you are hiring
Extreme Junk Removal L.L.C is family-owned, licensed and insured, based in Palm Coast, FL. Nine years in business, 270+ Google reviews. Open 7 AM to 9 PM every day. We serve Palm Coast, Flagler Beach, Bunnell, St. Augustine, St. Augustine Beach, World Golf Village, Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach and Edgewater.
Soft-top vs. hard-roof gazebos
Soft-top and fabric-roof kits come apart differently than a framed gazebo with shingles or metal roofing. Hard-roof structures take more trailer space and more time on the fasteners. Soft-top kits are often lighter but can still be bolted to a deck or buried anchors. Photos of the roof and the base help us quote the right tier the first time.
Storm season leftovers
After a rough summer, we see gazebos that are leaning, missing roof panels or already in a pile against the fence. You do not have to restack the pile into a perfect cube. Clear a path for the crew, keep kids and pets inside and send a photo of where the trailer can sit. If the gazebo took a fence section or part of a deck with it, include those in the same text so we can plan the load.
HOAs, buyers and listing photos
A failing gazebo is one of the first things a buyer’s agent notices in the backyard photos. HOAs in Palm Coast, Flagler and Volusia communities also send letters when a structure looks unsafe. Clearing it before the listing goes live is usually cheaper than a credit at the inspection table. If you are prepping a house for sale, ask us whether the shed, fence or spa should go in the same visit.
Metal pergolas, vinyl kits and carports
Wooden gazebos are our standard teardown. Metal pergolas, vinyl kits and fabric pop-ups are a photo-first conversation. Barns and carports are also an ask-us category, not a default yes. Send pictures and we will tell you what we can do.
How a typical gazebo visit runs
After you text photos, we reply with a price based on size, roof type and access. On the scheduled day our crew arrives with the 15-yard dump trailer, checks the path you showed in the photos and starts taking the structure down from the roof and upper framing. Pieces go straight into the trailer. When the gazebo is gone, we sweep up the loose debris we created. The yard should look like a gazebo used to be there, not like a job site left behind.
Most freestanding backyard gazebos are finished in one visit once we are on site. Bigger hard-roof structures or ones buried in landscaping take longer. If something unexpected shows up, such as wiring you did not mention or a second structure tied into the posts, we stop and talk through it before adding work.
Towns we cover for gazebo teardowns
Palm Coast and Flagler Beach are home base. Bunnell, St. Augustine, St. Augustine Beach and World Golf Village are regular north-route stops. Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach and Edgewater are on the south route. If your address is in one of those eleven towns, we come there. We do not advertise towns outside that list.
